Scientific Division

DIA procedures and guidelines aim is to ensure safe working at sea, land and space. To do this DIA uses the Integrated Security and Safety Method. DIA and its partners work together to pursue one goal, eliminating workplace incidents and use equipment and technology effectively.

In addition, DIA Scientific Division also focuses attention on marine pollution, sustainable blue economy, climate change, marine protection. DIA consultants have prepared procedures and guidelines to improve the conservation and protection of aquatic ecosystems through cutting edge technologies.

For the defense sector it designs and prepares behavioral methods and safety procedures for the crew on board ships and SAR helicopters, special forces. Pay close attention to the maritime sector especially in areas of the world where sabotage of critical infrastructure and acts of piracy to commercial ships are making work activities very difficult and dangerous. To improve work activities in hostile and remote environments, through consultants and project partners it develops and designs various types of technologies including remote-controlled and autonomous vehicles.

DIA documents take into account the natural and man-made hazards and risks, the safe use of equipment and technologies, behaviors and working methods in various operational scenarios. The objective is to reduce emergency situations, mitigate dangerous events, costs by improving and maintaining appropriate safety and security levels.

DIA focuses on helping energy companies and scientific or defense institutions improve their performance. From a security perspective, DIA Scientific Division provides for the creation of procedures to identify operational areas without protection and particularly vulnerable. While with regards to safety it improves and implements procedures and codes of practice for the safe use of equipment and technologies used in extreme and dangerous environments.

Consultants are also involved in testing the performance of equipment and devices, investigating accidents and assisting manufacturing companies during the design and production phase.

To address sensitive issues such as these, DIA Scientific Division relies on highly qualified law enforcement/military trained consultants, engineers.
