DIA (Dive International Agency) is a non-for-profit organization headquartered in Italy and other branches in Europe, North Sea countries, Eastern European countries, Africa, Mediterranean countries, South East Asia.

DIA is committed to ensuring the safety of working environments in sensitive sectors such as defence, energy and science. To carry out its awareness campaign it offers tailor-made solutions for all needs and uses various tools such as development of documentation and the training, events, informative articles. Thanks to the Research and Development sector made up of the Scientific and Medical Division, it provides substantial support to the various areas.

DIA focuses in the following fields:

Health and Safety, Security at Work – Creates guidelines and procedures for safe and appropriate use of equipment and tools, studies and designs measures and behaviors to be implemented both on land and in aquatic, in aerial and zero gravity environments. In this context DIA has also created courses for civilian and military personnel.

Design and Production Support – We build strong relationships with our partners and collaborate closely with them during the design and production phase of equipment, testing and integrating products with adequate safety and security solutions.

Performance TestingDIA R&D consultants Division offers comprehensive solutions for defense sector. Tests products both in the pre-production and post-production stages, to evaluate their efficiency and compatibility with the operational scenario, and their endurance through practical tests and simulations.

Accident Investigations and ForensicsDIA R&D Consultants Division creates guidelines, procedures and guidances to improve and make the investigation of accidents and crime scenes safe and reliable, including any forensic analysis in the energy, defense and aerospace sectors.

Safety and Security of Critical Infrastructures – implements protection measures intended as safety and security of civil installations connected with energy, maritime transport and military and aerospace facilities to reduce damage caused by environmental conditions and voluntary and involuntary man made. The objective is to ensure the structure is resilient, sustainable and safe, and protect the workers against one or more hazards.

Protection of Aquatic Ecosystems and Habitats – creates methods and guidelines to protect aquatic flora and fauna from natural and man-made events. DIA collaborates with partners to create targeted solutions aimed at teaching appropriate behaviors to mitigate hazards and risks caused by climate change and pollution.

DIA aims to ensure workershealth and safety, more efficient design and manufacturing of equipment, performance testing, accident investigations, protect critical infrastructure, protect and conserve ocean and coastal areas.
