History
Dive International Agency (DIA) was founded in Italy in 1991 and registered in 1998 as a non-for-profit organization, by governmental personnel, commercial and professional divers, physicians, scientists and scientific experts.
Over the years DIA has studied and developed methods and techniques, training courses, procedures and guidelines to work safely in the aquatic and land environments, in defence and law enforcement, energy and science sector.
Companies, training centres, collaborators, government and private institutions, universities have used guidelines, procedures and codes of practice including training courses to design and use equipment safely, improve personnel performance, and make their activities more efficient.
DIA has been constantly active in the implementation of procedures, standards, guidelines and training programs since 1998, thanks to which it has established collaborative relationships with national and international organisations.
DIA has participated in events organized by Project Partners and Training Partners, through the CRD Unit and R&D Division holding conferences, conventions, simulations.
DIA has designed and developed health and safety, security procedures in sensitive infrastructures, methods on the investigation of accidents in marine and underwater, land environments, etc.
DIA has received awards and recognition from the government body for the development of safety procedures in marine and underwater environments.
DIA has created integrated safety and security procedures and training courses in several fields, issued certificates to the government bodies personnel (Air Force, Fire Brigade, Army Aviation), and professionals.
