DIA Approved LST and LSS Safety Manager Course prepares the LST or LSS to maintain the safety of divers working in saturation environments or underwater habitats, to assess the external hazards and risk factors (around systems), in control rooms and inside chambers, evaluate the risks related to interfering system activities, design measures for the health and safety of occupants and support technicians, develop information and training programs on awareness of hazards within saturation diving modules and on pressure vessels, gas toxicity and risk management.
The Safety Officers and Mangers exams are held online in live synchronous mode by the DIA CRD Unit, DIA Executive Commission, Trade Union and Employers’ Organization authorized to issue Occupational Health and Safety certificates. The test includes the assessment of occupational health and safety topics in accordance with Legislative Decree. 81/08.
