Medical Emergencies Response

Accidents happen unexpectedly, they are unwanted and unplanned events. An accident is an event caused by a combination of factors.

The DIA Medical Division has developed the Medical Emergency in Industrial Critical Infrastructures (MEICI) which aims to safeguard human life in any situation. The program aims to manage various types of emergencies as a consequence of certain events such as: fire and explosion, incidents with hazardous chemicals and natural disasters.

The program includes first aid equipment selected for various types of medical emergencies, methods and vehicles of transport for casualty evacuation (MEDEVAC), tools for the stabilization and recovery of the patient’s condition in remote environments, emergency management through an effective telemedicine procedure, safety and rescue equipment.

The Program focuses on first aid in the workplace and emergency aid measures to stabilize the worker’s condition, before transfer to an equipped facility, to ensure the safety of workers.
